Kelly from the Mindful Explorers
Hi, I’m Kelly from The Mindful Explorers. I support children and families to bring mindfulness, creativity and emotional wellbeing into everyday life in simple, joyful ways. For this collaboration, I’m sharing a set of Autumn Explorer Cards — a collection of playful, mindful prompts inspired by the season. From leaf-listening and cosy gratitude reflections to mindful movement and autumn noticing, each card offers an easy way for families to slow down, connect and enjoy the magic of autumn together. They’re designed to be low-prep, family-friendly and perfect for sparking calm and connection on autumn days. 🍂

Jodie and Rachel from Where the Wild Ones Learn
Where the Wild Ones Learn is a hands-on nature education collective founded in 2023 by Jodie Poole and Rachel Lawrence. Frustrated by expensive, supply-heavy nature-study resources, we set out to design eco-friendly, recycled-material packs that spark curiosity and wonder in young explorers. Alongside our seasonal nature studies, a monthly membership unlocks fresh nature activities, and printable guides every single month.
Our partnership began in 2017, when we were both expecting our first babies, and has since blossomed into countless outdoor adventures across woodlands, our community gardens, and our allotment. As childminders and self-proclaimed eco-warriors, we blend storytelling, scientific facts, and playful prompts to create resources perfect for forest schools, childminders, home educators, and families. We also run a nature school and home education sessions in our local community.
Where the Wild Ones Learn invites every child to step outside, get messy, and discover the wonders of the natural world—with sustainability at its heart.

Naomi from Naomi Dalglish VA
I'm Naomi! An ex-high school teacher turned Virtual Assistant and mummy to a 3 year old daughter. Time with our children is so precious but if you’re anything like me “playing babies/mum’s and dad’s” again, isn’t always high on my list of enjoyable activities! However, give me a craft, puzzle, activity book or simple recipe and I’m all over it! So, here’s my easy magical wands for those days where you need a bit of magic! We made these for a baby shower and they added a lovely touch to the table. I hope you enjoy them and here’s hoping one swish tidies all the toys away!

Abi from Spark, Guide, Grow
Hey! I'm Abi, ex teacher and nursery manager with 2 kiddos of my own. I am a parent mentor who is a bit obsessed with how children learn and how empowering parents to be able to support their kids, whatever they are going through, but especially with school sadness.
I am very excited to be offering this affirmation cards to you lovely people. At the top, you will see the affirmation. I encourage you to read this and really notice how it feels to apply it to yourself. Is there resistance there? Where do you notice the feeling in your body? Then, you have some journaling prompts to help you dive deeper into the affirmation and help you to make sense of it.

Sarah from Sarah’s Little Bookshelf
Hi I’m Sarah.
After working with children for over 20 years, I decided to create Sarah’s Little Bookshelf to promote children’s stories, child development and book reviews.
Along the way I developed a passion for writing poetry and I now run a free podcast that showcases my stories and poems called Storytime with Sarah’s Little Bookshelf. I am currently working on my first physical book.
My resource is called The Little Acorn, a poem about the life cycle of an Oak Tree. There are two follow up activities including a colouring sheet and a movement activity. These activities can help promote mindfulness, creativity, early reading and listening skills, gross/fine motor skills and finally to promote an overall sense of calm.
Find me on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and my own podcast website.
