Creative Calm: Using Art and Play to Support Your Child’s Big Feelings

📅 Thursday 16th October
🕗 8.00 – 9.00pm (online, free event)

Children’s emotions can sometimes feel overwhelming, whether it is meltdowns after school, bedtime worries or bursts of anger. Yet these big feelings are also moments of growth. When we guide children through them with creativity and connection, we not only help them find calm but also nurture qualities such as resilience, gratitude, compassion and self compassion.

This free workshop will give you simple, creative tools you can use at home to help your child feel calmer and more confident with their emotions. Together we will explore how art and play can be powerful ways for children to express and regulate their feelings while also developing kindness, gratitude and a stronger sense of self.

In this practical and supportive session you will
✅ Learn why children’s emotions sometimes feel so big
✅ Discover fun, low prep activities that use art and play to ease stress and worry
✅ Experience a simple creative activity you can try straight away
✅ Leave with resources to support your child’s emotional wellbeing and confidence at home

This workshop is designed for parents of children aged four to eleven, but all are welcome. You do not need any art skills, just a willingness to explore playful ways of supporting your child.

All attendees will receive a set of resources after the session to help put the strategies into practice at home.

Come along, learn and leave with ideas you can start using the very next day to help your child not only manage their big feelings but also grow in confidence, compassion and joy.

Sign up on the form and within 24 hours I will send you the log in details for the workshop. Do feel free to spread the word and invite others to sign up too!
