Family Nature Club
Calmer mornings, kinder evenings, fewer meltdowns
Help big feelings feel manageable with nature and simple mindful tools.
Do you want to stay calm with your child’s big feelings, even on the hard days?
Do you want simple tools you can use in the moment, not just ideas you save for later?
Do you want your family to get outside more, without it turning into a whole mission?
Do you want easy prompts that help you slow down and connect, even when you are busy?
Would you love more screen free moments where your child is absorbed in something real and hands on?
Do you want a simple family rhythm that feels natural, not like another thing to keep up with?
If you are nodding along, it is probably because you are trying to do a really good job in a really full life. You want to support your child with their emotions, you want more calm and you also want more of the good stuff, more fresh air, more laughter, more time outside together that does not feel like another thing on the list!
Because it is not that you do not care. It is that you are tired, you are juggling everything and most of the advice out there either feels too vague or too much. You read it, you agree with it, you save it… and then it is 7:45am, someone is crying, someone cannot find their shoes, you are already running late and your plan to “do more nature” or “be more mindful” disappears into thin air.
And when you do finally get outside, it can still feel like effort. What should we do? Where should we go? What if they get bored after five minutes? So it becomes something you will do at the weekend, or when life is quieter, except life rarely gets quieter.
Deep down, I think a lot of parents want the same thing. A simple way to get outdoors more often, in a way that feels fun and doable, and that quietly supports their child’s confidence and emotional wellbeing at the same time. Not a survival kit for a crisis. Not a complicated routine. Just a little structure and a bit of guidance, so you can have more screen free moments, more exploring, more noticing, and more of that feeling of being a family together.
That is the gap Family Nature Club is here to fill.
I’m Kelly, the founder of Mindful Explorers. I’m a mindfulness teacher, a mum of two and a former primary school teacher who worked in senior leadership for many years.
I’ve supported children and families for years, both in homes and in schools, and I know what children need to feel calmer, more confident and more connected. I also know what parents need for it to be doable, not another thing to keep up with.
Family Nature Club brings all of that together. Simple nature adventures that get you outside, plus practical mindful tools you can use in everyday moments, especially when emotions run high.

What you get each month inside Family Nature Club
Family Nature Club is a monthly membership that helps you get outside more often, have fun together in nature and build calm, practical tools that support emotional wellbeing along the way.
Each month follows a simple rhythm so you always know what to expect, without it becoming repetitive.
Monthly theme
Every month has a theme that gently guides what we focus on, for example seasonal rhythm, calming big feelings through nature, screen time balance, confidence, connection and simple mindfulness habits that fit family life.
Parent webinar
A monthly parent session (around 20 to 30 minutes). You can watch live when I run it live, or catch the recording whenever it suits you. It is practical and down to earth, with ideas you can use straight away.
Weekly family resources
Each week you will get a small set of resources to use with your child. It is a mix across the month so it stays interesting, for example:
- printable prompts and activity sheets
- nature challenge cards
- short audio meditations for children
- quick video or audio tutorials you can follow without loads of prep
Everything is designed to be low effort and genuinely doable. You do not need fancy equipment or loads of time.
WhatsApp community
You will be part of a private WhatsApp community with other like minded parents. It is a place to share wins, swap ideas and feel less alone, without the pressure of a big social platform.
Weekly Q and A
Once a week you can ask me questions and I will reply inside the group via voice note. You can use this for anything from “how do I handle after school meltdowns” to “how do I actually get outside when everyone is resistant.”
Seasonal celebrations and special events
You also get free access to all seasonal celebrations and special events throughout the year, so the club feels alive and fun, not just another set of downloads.
FAQ
What ages is Family Nature Club for?
Family Nature Club is designed for families with children roughly aged 3 to 11, but it is flexible. You can adapt most ideas up or down depending on your child and what they enjoy.
How much time do we need each week?
Not much. Most weeks you can do one small activity in 10 to 20 minutes, or use the prompts on a walk. The club is designed to fit into real life, not take it over.
Do we have to do everything to get value?
No. This is not a course you have to keep up with. You can dip in and out and choose what suits your family. Even using one prompt a week is enough to feel the benefits over time.
What if we are not an outdoorsy family?
You do not need to be. The activities are gentle and accessible. The aim is to make getting outside feel easier and more enjoyable, not like a big hike or a perfect nature day.
What if we live in a town or we do not have easy access to nature?
That is absolutely fine. You can use parks, streets, gardens, school runs, even a single tree on a corner. I focus on noticing and simple nature moments, not needing a specific location.
Is this just for families who are struggling with big feelings?
No. Big feelings are part of normal childhood and normal family life. Family Nature Club is for any parent who wants more calm, connection and time outside, and who also wants simple tools for the harder moments when they show up.
How do the resources arrive each week?
You will get weekly resources delivered digitally. Some will be via the WhatsApp group and some will be by email. You can download and print what you want, and you can also use plenty of ideas without printing. I will eventually put everything onto a membership platform and that is something founding members will help me test and trial!
Do I need lots of equipment or materials?
No. I keep it simple. Most activities use what you already have at home, plus whatever you can find outside.
Are the parent webinars live?
Some months I will run them live and some will be prerecorded. Every webinar is recorded so you can watch in your own time.
I am not sure I want another WhatsApp group. What is it like?
I hear you. The WhatsApp community is designed to feel supportive, not noisy. You can be quiet and just read along, or join in when you want. The weekly Q and A is also shared by voice note so you can listen when it suits you.
How does the weekly Q and A work?
You can drop your question into the WhatsApp group or to me privately and I will answer each week via voice note within the group. If you send me a question privately I will not use your name in my reply. Questions can be practical and specific, and you can learn from other parents’ questions too.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel at any time, no hard feelings! Your access continues until the end of your billing period.
Will my price change later?
No. You lock in the price you join at. Founding members pay £11.99 per month for as long as they remain a member.
What if I join, then life gets busy and I do not use it for a while?
That is exactly why it is set up as a gentle rhythm rather than a programme you have to keep up with. The resources will be there when you need them, and you can come back at any time.
